Jacques Pettigrew
Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer

Jacques Pettigrew has over 30 years of experience in the production industry. In 1974, he created CinéGroupe, initially to offer post-production services. The Company soon expanded to introduce its own production projects including documentaries, short and feature length films as well as corporate productions. One of the Company's first documentary productions, Northward Bound, told the story of the J.E. Bernier, the first small sailing vessel to cross the North-West Passage with a four-man crew which included Pettigrew. In 1985, fuelled by Pettigrew's fascination with the creative potential of animation, CinéGroupe established the first Montreal-based animation studio specializing in television series. Among Pettigrew’s numerous production credits are the animated feature films P3K: Pinocchio 3000 and Heavy Metal F.A.A.K. 2.   In television, his credits include the live-action/Effects series Charlie Jade, Galidor: Defenders of the Outer Dimension, Seriously Weird and Big Wolf on Campus, and the 3D  animation series Tripping the Rift,  and the Emmy™ Award-winning Sagwa: The Chinese Siamese Cat.
