A University of Montréal computer science graduate, Pierre Duff has been with CinéGroupe since 1996 when the Company was a small digital 2D studio and post-production studio with minimal 3D capacities. As head of IT, Duff oversaw the technological growth of the studio from 2D to 3D to special effects; from 1inch tapes and 35 mm (film) to full digital HD output. He also harnessed the new telecommunications technologies to develop a more efficient and cost effective approval process with our partners and clients in the U.S, Europe and Asia. Prior to joining CinéGroupe, Duff held several positions as Head of IT for various Montréal-based businesses. |
